A Woven Tapestry

Happy Wednesday! This Psalm continues to speak to my soul.

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” Psalm 139:13-16 NLT

Do you know anyone who knows you like the Lord? _______

Lord, it is only you who knows us so well. It is only you who designed us so intimately. Lord, we are like a woven tapestry. There is no beauty without the fine details that occur behind the scenes. Thank you for your workmanship and delicate care.

Lord, each day that we look in the mirror, help us to see beyond ourselves to see you and the marvelous creation you made. Lord, remove our insecurities about ourselves and help us to be secure in you and how you made us. Lord, when others try to limit our beauty, purpose and ability reassure us of your love and perfection. Lord, remind us that you did not make one mistake when you created us. Lord, when we reflect over our lives and see places where the tapestry is tattered, help us to heal in those areas, help us to utilize that pain to glorify you and help others overcome. Lord, strengthen our faith and continue to change us. In Jesus name, Amen.

Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!

Amen! What we truly have is You Lord. In this season of Thanksgiving, may we share our treasure-our Lord-with all those we cross paths with! Thank you Lord for your love and patience. You know us so well!
