Don’t Become Weary

Good morning! “Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up. After all, you have not yet given your lives in your struggle against sin. And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said, My child, don’t make light of the Lord’s discipline, and don’t give up when he corrects you. For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.” Hebrews 12:3-6 NLT

Whatever you are going through – don’t give up! The Lord loves you and we are praying for you.

Father God, we thank you for your love toward us. Lord, thank you for enduring the hostility of difficult and sinful people in order for us to be saved. We thank you for giving us strength to endure hostility from those who have decided not to follow you. Lord, continue to teach us your ways. Lord, be our beacon of light as we seek to follow you. Correct us when we are straying away from you and our calling. Guide us and steer us in the direction that is pleasing to you. May the discipline you give, be seen as measures that correct us in love and let us be undaunted by the shifting in our lives but also encourage us to press forward in your strength. Help us to pursue you with passion and boldness. Father, we also lift up families affected by the hurricanes that have hit the U.S. and various countries around the world. Lord, help them to recover from these disasters and be with those who are faced with the coming hurricanes. Lord, turn those winds away from the islands. In Jesus name, amen!

Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
