Happy Friday! “ This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for you. They wondered what time or situation the Spirit of Christ within them was talking about when he told them in advance about Christ’s suffering and his great glory afterward.” 1Peter 10-11 NLT
It is true. Christ Jesus suffered for our sins, he died and rose again. He is seated at the right hand of the Father and because of his sacrifice on the cross we can receive a gracious salvation if we believe.
For those who believe he didn’t promise days without struggle, life without pain, or hope without sorrow. He did promise that he will never leave us or forsake us, that he will give rest for our souls, he has a good plan for us, he will give strength to the powerless, he will supply our needs, and that nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We will receive the promised salvation the goal of faith described in his written word. Keep reading! Keep seeking the Lord! Keep trusting! Keep believing!
