Good Morning! “You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:8-9NLT.
The key word today is trust. In our daily lives we long for opportunities to put down our guard to simply trust someone or something. We attempt to trust rollercoasters, co-workers, friends, family members and maybe a stranger. However, the results of that trust can be rewarding or you can feel like you are on a rollercoaster ride that won’t stop spinning out of control – you ask yourself why did I let my guard down or get on that crazy ride.
Well life will take us on many rides wirh unexpected turns and twist, drama that builds, loops and drops that we have no control over. But the Lord is always in control. He is there with us at every turn and unexpected situation. And we are reminded in these verses that we need to trust the process, because it will bring salvation to our souls (freedom).
It’s not easy to trust, but when you put your trust in the Lord everything will work according to his plan. Trust him! Keep praying! Keep turning it over to God. Ask him for direction. Keep seeking him first!
Trust the process!
