Happy Tuesday!  Join me as we go through the New Testament book of Hebrews.

Bible Verse: Hebrews 1:1-2 NLT
“Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.”

Reflection
I pray that as week go chapter by chapter and verse by verse that God (the Father) will speak to us and transform our character through His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit. May we learn to trust our lives and those we love to the creator of the universe.

Prayer
Father God, we thank you for today. Thank you for another opportunity to read your word and apply it to our lives. Lord God, creator of all things, strengthen our faith, and direct our steps as we seek to follow you with our whole heart. Lord, as we go through the book of Hebrews, reveal to us your word and build our faith through scriptures, and restore our relationship with you daily. Help us to understand your word more and transform us to become more like you each day. Be with our families and continue to cover us as we begin this new month and week. Lord, repair and restore marriages and families. Be with those who are single and bless them with the things they need and healthy relationships in their lives. Lord, we pray for those whose loved one passed away over the weekend. Lord, comfort their hearts and help them to grieve in a healthy way. Lord, wherever there is heartbreak and unresolved feelings we ask that you heal the brokenness and resolve the feelings without delay. Remove any barriers that will keep anyone from healing and maturing in the relationship with you and others.
Lord, help us as we face good and difficult situations. Give us the wisdom and discernment we need as we face the known and unknown parts of our day. Lord, open opportunities for to be used by you and lets us act as you would have us to act. Lord, many people are seeking employment and stability in their jobs and small businesses. Lord, help them to find and create a healthy work environment, peers/staff, and growth in their staff as well as professional growth for those who are seeking employment. Lord, we pray each person who is struggling financially, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually – Lord, you know their needs help them to navigate through them as the lean on you. Lord, help us to hear your Holy Spirit speak and guide us – we are ready to listen and act. We trust you, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.
