Good morning! May the Lord bless you with this reminder that He is with you always, even to the end of the age.
“18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,[b] baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”” – Matthew 28:18-20 NLT
Prayer
Father God, we thank you for being with us. Thank you for the reminder that you will always be with us. Lord, you have been constant and consistent in our lives, and we thank you for the blessings and reminders that you have all authority in heaven and earth. You are the One who sustains us and keeps us in the midst of turmoil and joy. Lord, rest your peace on us and remove our fears and anxiety.
Lord, we ask for you to continue to heal those who are recovering from surgery. Heal those who are recovering from illnesses. Comfort the woman whose husband passed away last night. Lord, strengthen her and their family as they start a new part of their lives without him. Lord, we continue to pray for those who are grieving those they have lost over the past 12 months. Lord, bring them comfort this first year without their loved one, give them rest and cover them with a peace of mind.
Lord, we pray for family, friends and neighbors who do not know you. Lord, we know that you give each one of us an opportunity to decide to follow you. However, we want to pray for them to know you, believe in you, and accept you as the Lord and Savior of their lives. Lord, soften their hearts and open their minds to receive your truth and walk in obedience to your word. Lord, help us all to be humble before you and submit to your leading and word. Lord, help us to seek you in everything that we do and trust you in every area of our lives. Keep leading us, Lord. In Jesus name, amen.
