Good morning!
Prayer
Father God, we thank you for blessing us with another day. Lord, you gave us breath in our lungs and you allowed our hearts to beat. Lord, you have been faithful in small and great things. You never cease to amaze me. You are always with us. Lord, thank you for saving us and loving us.
Lord, we pray for those who are working today. Lord, we ask that you keep them safe on their jobs. Lord, give them favor on their assignments and task. Lord, be with those who are working outdoors in hot weather conditions – protect them from the sun, keep them cool and hydrated, and protect them from heat related illnesses. Lord, we pray those who are having difficulties at work with supervisors, co-workers, workloads. Lord, we ask that you improve their working condition. Lord, we pray for those seeking employment or new opportunities, and we ask that you open up doors for them to find another place of employment, with a health work environment, and good leadership.
Lord, we pray for families. Lord, heal any brokenness within family relationships. Lord, heal our homes. Lord, direct our steps and align our lives to your call and purpose. Lord, we also ask that you keep everyone cool in these warmer days, weeks, and months. Help those with broken air conditioners with the finances they need to have them fixed. Lord, continue to watch over and protect children who are home or at a sitter or camp, Lord, keep them safe from harm.
Lord, continue to work in us. Continue to transform us and help us to be obedient to your word. Lord, remove any doubt and fear that keeps us from following after you.
