Prayer

Father God, we thank you for all the things that you have done in our lives. Lord, thank you for keeping us anchored to you and your word.

Lord, as we prepare for the memorial day weekend ahead, we ask for you to comfort the families who have lost loved ones. Lord, we pray for those who have served and are serving in the military, and who have lost friends, family members and colleagues in action or after serving. Lord, we pray for the family members who have lost parents, spouses, children while they served our country or after serving. Lord, comfort, encourage, and strengthen them as their family member(s) are honored this weekend.

Lord, we pray for those who are traveling this weekend and we pray for their safety. Lord, cover them and protect them from harm.

Lord, we lift up every prayer request that was spoken or unspoken and asked that you bless those in need- financial, medical, spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional. Lord, in your faithfulness and by your grace be with us. In Jesus name, amen.
