Good morning! May the Lord make us more like him every day.

Bible Verse 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 NLT

“¹⁶ But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. ¹⁷ For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. ¹⁸ So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.”

Prayer

Dear God. Thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for your unconditional love and compassion upon us. Thank you for answering prayers, for healing, for bringing comfort, and for making the weary strong. Lord, you have answered prayers that we have forgotten we have prayed. Lord, we are so grateful for all that you have done and continue to do in our lives. You have shut the mouths of lions and you have destroyed the plans of the evil one time and time again in our lives. There is no one like you. Thank you for your word that reminds us to stand, for the reminder that you will fight our battles, and the times when you instruct us to go in faith. Your Holy Spirit has been our trusted advisor and guide. We thank you for your Spirit, Lord. We thank you for the freedom that we have because of your spirit which is everywhere.

Lord, today we pray for those who are still wearing a veil over their face. Lord, we pray for those who do not know you, who don’t want to know you, and those who simply don’t understand. Lord, we pray that their hearts will be soften and that their ears will be attuned to your spirit speaking to them. Lord, let believers who are consistently and faithfully walking in your truth, humbly present Your truth and your word to those who don’t know you. Lord, change their hearts. Lord, may whole households of non-believers be saved. May families including their youth and servants begin to pray together and accept You as the Lord and Savior of their lives.

Lord, we pray for believers to continue to be transformed into your image, and that they will walk in the freedom that you give. Lord, that they will draw closer to you and live in the abundance that you provide. Lord, bless their households and strengthen their faith. Let your peace overflow in their homes. Lord, reignite the passion they once had for you, for worshipping you, for being in assembly with other believers, and for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lord, we call on you today because we trust you and your word. We call on you because of your faithfulness. We call on you because you made away for us to pray directly to you. Lord, thank. Thank you for your sacrifice for us. Continue your transformational work in us. Let everything we do today bring you glory.

Lord, bring relief and healing to the sick. Lord, clear upper respiratory infections. Lord, clear sinuses. Lord, clear up colds. Lord, remove pain from those who woke up in pain this morning. Lord, calm the nerves in nervous systems and repair those nerves. Lord, be with those who have medical conditions and begin to turn their symptoms around for the good.

Lord, touch each reader today. Lord, you know their individual prayer request. Lord, we stand with them in prayer today. Lord, may your will be done. In Jesus name, amen.
