Dear God.

You are the One who calms any storm. You take away our burdens. You keep us in perfect peace. Lord, we thank you for watching over us and for your protection.

Lord, lead us today as we go to work. Lord, keep those who are going to work safe on the roads. Reduce stress and remove anxiety from everyone’s heart. Comfort us and give us the courage that we need to make wise decisions today.

Lord, we pray for students who are going to school today. Lord, watch over them today. Lord, cover them and shield them from harm. Keep them warm and dry today. Give them wisdom and insight to understand their assignments and time to complete them. Lord, protect those driving to school and keep them safe on the roads. Lord, protect those taking school busses, those taking public transportation, and those who are walking to school. Lord, keep them warm and let them know that you are with them. Protect them from predators and those who may want to harm them. Lord, we also pray for the children in childcare and/or with a sitter. Lord, surround those children with your army of angels to protect them and keep them safe from harm. Lord, cover them and keep them from illness, abuse, and unfair treatment. Help them to have a wonderful day.

Lord, we pray for those who will be at home or indoors. Lord, protect homes from being flooded and from leaks. Lord, keep them safe indoors and provide us all the nourishment we need.

Lord, continue to work in us today. Lord, as you water the earth, water us too. Refresh and renew us today. Lord, help us to draw nearer to you and deepen our relationship with you. Give us the right attitude and a healthy way to express our love to others.

Lord, comfort those who are grieving today and give them peace. Provide food and a place of shelter for those in need. Heal the sick and get them the medicine, medical treatment, and proper rest they need. Lord, keep others from getting sick from the various changes in the weather. Lord,our hope is in you. We trust your promises and we ask that you continue to remind us of your promises and faithfulness all day long. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
