Good morning! It’s Thursday and the Lord is still good in every way. In Psalm 107, it starts with – “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever. ² Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies.” Throughout the chapter at least four times we find the word “Lord, help!” each time it is followed by the who faithful God was to them.

Psalm 107:43 “Those who are wise will take all this to heart;  they will see in our history the faithful love of the Lord.”

Prayer

Dear God. We want to thank you for being faithful to us. Lord, every time we call out for help, you are faithful to respond to our need and you show yourself faithful to us and others. Lord, you allow us to go through troubled waters, but in your faithfulness you never leave us in disrepair. You make all things new and often better than before. We can trust you to rescue us just as You made sure Jesus would redeem and resuce us from our sinfulness, and restore us back to You. There is no God that can compare to you or is greater than you, yet you still love us. Thank You!

Lord, thank you for answering our prayers. Thank you for drawing us closer to you in our prayer life and growing us in character. Lord, continue to strengthen our faith. Continue to heal us and build us up in our understanding of who you are and how you work all things out. Lord, help us to receive and share your goodness and love with others. Lord, help us to write down your faithfulness throughout this year so that we do not forget your goodness and how you brought us through so much. Lord, help us to pray with others so that we can also experience how you will and have come through for them.

Lord, we thank you for the brothers and sisters that you sent along side us when things were difficult and at times when it was dark. Lord, thank you for shinning brightly so that we would not lose our way. Lord, continue to equip us for the hours, days, and months ahead of us.

Lord, we lift up every prayer request today. We ask that you heal the aging heart, that you open up lung capacity and improve breathing. We pray for every person in the hospital and in need of treatment. We pray for those who are worried about their children and their children’s children. Lord, cover and protect children we know and don’t know. We pray that those children will know You all the days of their lives. Lord, touch those who are going through chemotherapy. We pray for healing and full recovery from cancer treatments. Lord, we pray for those suffering with chronic medical conditions, mental health issues, food insecurity, blindness, and loss. Lord, please heal, provide, and comfort each reader today.

Lord, we pray for those who are dealing with the unique weather conditions across the world. Lord, we pray for those who lost their loved ones due to the inclement whether – help them in their time of grief and recovery. We pray for those who are working in those conditions. Lord, give them safe travels to and from work, and keep them safe while they are there.

Lord, we want to make room – right here… for others to pray for themselves and/or others: ____________________________________________________.

Lord, we thank you in advance for Your help and your faithfulness. We simply could not make it without you. Lord, touch each reader today. Lord, bless them with Your peace and comfort them with Your love and compassion. In Jesus name, amen.
