Good morning! May the Lord be with you today and throughout the week.

Bible Verse: 1 John 5:13-15 NLT

“¹³ I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. ¹⁴ And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. ¹⁵ And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.”

Prayer

Dear God, there is no one greater than you. There is no one who knows us like you do. There is no one who else capable of giving us eternal life. Thank you for loving us and for giving us eternal life. Thank you for your grace and mercy. Thank you for sustaining us and answering our prayers.

Lord, you are the healer of relationships. You are the One who restores the brokenness in families. You can heal those who feel rejected, you can heal the bitterness in homes. You can restore hearts, communication, and marriages.

Lord, we continue our prayers for those recovering from surgery and for those still battling illnesses. Lord, touch their bodies today. Lord, manage their pain and give their physicians the wisdom and discernment for the right treatment plan, and be obedient to your leading.

Lord, be our comfort and peace today as we begin this new week. Direct our steps and help us to remain in you as you are in us. As we make decisions and adjust to whatever may come our way. Lord, help us to lean on you when we don’t understand what or how to do the next thing. Lord, give us wisdom in our discussions and guard our tongues to speak as you guide us. In Jesus name, amen.
