Good morning! God is still the One who can change anyone.
Bible Verse – 1 John 3:1-3 NLT
“1 See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. 2 Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. 3 And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.”
Prayer
Dear God, we thank you for loving us beyond our ability to comprehend. You are a loving Father who is capable of managing all the details of our lives and more. God you created the sky, the moon, the land and the ocean. You carefully knitted us in our mother’s womb. You know us better than we know ourselves. It always amazes me when I read about Your love for us and how forgiving you are. Not only are you forgiving, but you are the One who makes us whole so that we do not crave those sins anymore.
Father God, thank you for allowing us to be in relationship with you. Thank you for leading us this week and for transforming our hearts one detail at a time. Lord, we want to recognize your voice and be obedient to You when you call. Lord, help us to be obedient in the small things today and this weekend. Keep speaking to our hearts and change us from the inside out.
Lord, we lift up all the prayer requests that were sent in and ask that you continue to answer those prayers. Lord, keep working on us. Lord, we pray for those preparing to give birth. Lord, we ask for a good delivery experience. We pray for healthy babies. We pray for good medical staff to be present and compassionate. We pray for those who will be traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday. Lord, we pray that there will not be cancelled flights or computer issues at the terminals. We pray for safety on the roads and railways. We pray for our gratitude this coming week. Lord, help us to focus on how grateful we are for you and what you have done for us. Your grace us sufficient.
