Good morning! Today’s reminder for hope, is that the Lord will be with You/Us.

Bible Verse: Isaiah 43:1-2 NLT

“¹ But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you.  O Israel, the one who formed you says,
“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.
    I have called you by name; you are mine.
² When you go through deep waters,
    I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
    you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
    you will not be burned up;
    the flames will not consume you.”

Prayer

Dear Lord, Our God and Savior. We thank you for another day to praise you. We thank you for another opportunity to share your word and trust in your promises. Lord we thank you for your provision and protection. We thank you for never leaving us abandoned or forever in despair. You are a faithful and wonderful God who has spared us of many obstacles and has given us a path forward. Your gracious mercies never end. When there is joy – your peace is there. Where there is sorrow – your peace is there. You and your word are so reliable and unswerving. Thank you for your faithfulness to be with us in deep waters and fire. Thank you for reminding us that we are not exempt from deep water or fires in our lives, but you are the One who will be with us and that you will bring us out. Lord, that hope alone removes anxiety and fear. That hope that is in your truth and your faithfulness gives us the courage to step forward one day at at time – minute by minute.

Lord, today we pray for those who need their hope in you renewed. Lord, we ask for you to strengthen them and to be their peace. We ask that you help them to lean on you and trust you as they learn about you and how to trust in you.

Lord, thank you for calling us your own. Thank you for calling us by name. Thank you for blessing us beyond measure. Lord, we pray for those who feel forgotten, unwanted, unloved and who are seeking to be seen. Lord, remind them that You see them and have not forgotten them, or their prayers, or their situation. Lord, continue to work out their challenges and help them to see you working out the details. Lord, lift the burdens of their heavy heart and strengthen them to trust you.

Lord, we pray for those with medical issues and we ask that you be with the doctors who are treating them. Give those doctors wisdom and insight, courage and wisdom, discernment and compassion as they treat each person in need of care. Lord, be with those who are battling cancer and help them to fix their eyes on you. Be with those who have lost a loved one to cancer and comfort them. Lord, make a way for a cure.

Lord, thank you for this week. Lord, with the ups and downs, highs and lows, you remained unmoved, unshaken, and steady with us. Lord, continue working in us. Lord, when you call us let us be obedient to the call. Continue to equip us for the things ahead and bless us with the wisdom and a humble heart to follow as you lead us.

Lord, help the parents, grandparents, and guardians who are raising children, have children or caring for children. We ask that you renew their strengthen. Give them patience and wisdom to care for them. Help them stand in the gap for them in prayer and to speak with them to understand their concerns. Lord, help them to seek you for knowledge, discernment and understanding to reach their children with love and patience. Lord, help them to lead their children to you. Protect those children at day care, school, work and at home.

Lord, help us to fix our eyes on you in the deep waters, in the rivers of difficulty and in the fires. Don’t let us lose hope in your word. Keep reminding us that You are with us.
