Good morning! Today I will highlight three scriptures that remind us of God’s promises in some of the most difficult times.

Bible Verses:

Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”

Psalm 73:26 “My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.”

Matthew 5:4 “God blesses those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.”

Prayer

Father God, we thank you for your promises. We are grateful for your words of truth.

Lord, comfort those who are mourning today. Lord, strengthen those who are brokenhearted and crushed in spirit. Lord, give peace to all those in need of your peace and love today.

Lord, help us to comfort those who we come across and be an example of your love and compassion.

Lord, we need you today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
