Devotion

The Lord is able to satisfy every need we have to day. Let His unfailing love satisfy you this morning.

Prayer

Dear Lord.

Thank you for blessing us with another day. Thank you for watching over us throughout the night. Thank you for never leaving us or forsaking us. Your ways are always for our good, the good of those who love you and are called to your purpose.

Lord, you have been faithful our entire lives, even the days we did not know you personally. We are grateful that you sent your son Jesus Christ to save us. Lord, it is only you who could satisfy the debt we owed, and you did… thank you. Lord, continue to work in us. Change us. Lead us.

Lord, satisfy us this morning with your unfailing love. Lord, fill the voids we are feeling today. Create a space that allows us to hear your voice and talk to you today. Lord, renew our minds, refresh and restore us as we go throughout the day. Help us to be a reflection of who you are. Give us wisdom, patience and peace as prepare for our daily task. Help us to see you at work in and around us.

Lord, we continue to pray for people who are grieving. Lord, we pray over their households and ask that you bring peace. We pray for those who are ill and ask for healing. Lord, we pray for covering over the women’s retreat and we ask for you to prepare the hearts of the women who will be in attendance. Lord, we ask that you bless each volunteer and the work that they are doing. Lord, we pray for safety and peace on the day of the event. Lord, we thank for the donors/sponsors who helped to make this event sustainable and for it to be a blessing for the women who are coming. Lord, may Your work and will be done.

Lord, keep our hearts, minds, and eyes focused on you. Lord, strengthen us so that no matter what opposition comes our way, that we will be able to get through it with your strength. Help us to sing songs of joy our entire lives. In Jesus name, amen.
