Good morning! We are reading through reminders of God’s love and grace toward us. We pray that you will know and experience His never-ending love for you.
Bible Verse: Romans 8:38-39 NLT
“38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Devotion
To know the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus is the greatest feeling in the world. To know that we did not earn it, we don’t need to perform for it, and to understand it as a free gift is simply amazing. When the first breath was taken until the last one escapes, the Lord has loved us and will always love us.
Sisters and brothers, even when you feel alone God loves you and He sees you. His peace surpasses all understanding and His love for you is unconditional and never-ending.
Prayer
Lord, thank you for being the one who paid the cost for our sins, for making a way for us to have a loving relationship with the Father for all eternity. Your act of love secured our relationship with you for all eternity.
Lord, we want to know and experience this love more in our lives. We want to know your ways and live as a mirror image of your grace, love and compassion toward other. Lord, we don’t have it all together but You do. Lord, we are leaning in and on you as we seek to share who you are and your love for us. Lord, equip us and help us to represent you well.
Lord, we pray for those who are grieving. Lord, you know why they are grieving and what they need. Heal their brokenhearts. We pray for those who are in Morocco and ask that you provide the resources and support that they need. Lord, we continue to pray for those in the Hawaiian Islands and ask that you also help them to grieve and rebuild. Lord, you know the heart ache and pain they all have and you know exactly what they need. Lord, be their provider.
Lord, we pray for the sick and ask for healing. We pray for those who are struggling with anger and we ask that you soften their hearts and turn them to you. Lord, we ask for wisdom and guidance as we go through this day. Press upon our hearts and align our will to yours as we seek to be your obedient servants. Continue to order our steps and transform us to be more like you. In Jesus name. Amen!
