Good morning! Thank you for joining us as we continue our Draw Closer prayer series.

Prayer Focus: Protector

“Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, I will also help you,
I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NASB

DEAR GOD.

Thank you for being our strength. Thank you for helping us. Thank you for upholding us with your righteous right hand. Lord, you have continued to show yourself faithful and true. You never abandon us and you have proven that we can trust you.

Lord, we may not always be happy with the way life tends to work, but Lord, we are grateful to know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Lord, we trust you with our lives. Lord, thank you for stretching us to be and do better. Thank you for blessing and correcting us.

Lord, there are times when we are fearful. Lord, we are fearful about our:

• situations on the job
• finances
• children
• parents
• relationships
• change
• school
• medical reports or conditions

Lord, the above concerns weigh heavy on our hearts. Lord, we lift these fears to you today.

Lord, our protector and peace giver you know our prayers about those things. Lord, we give them to you today. Lord, you are greater than all those things and the opposition against them and us. Lord, your word says you have not given us a spirit of fear. Lord, be with us and make your presence known. Bind the spirit that tries to bind us or paralyze our thinking. Hold us and pour into us the spirit of a sound mind, power and love. Lord, we are trusting that you will take care of us, those reports, and other things. Lord, take us to our next step in spiritual maturity.  Continue to transform our character and remind us to lean/draw closer to you. Let our words and speech mirror your compassion, truth and love.

Lord, watch over us as we go through this day. Heal the brokenhearted. Give safe refuge for those without. Comfort those who need comforting. Transform Your church to be all that you desire for it to be. Give us favor on our jobs, in our schools, with doctor’s appointments, and with anything else that we do with a grateful and pure heart.
