Good morning! We are continuing our Draw Closer prayer series. May the Lord continue to bless you.

Dear God.

Thank you for being with us through the weekend. Thank you for blessing us with another day. Lord, thank you for your endless mercies, your joy and peace. Lord, as we prepare for the week ahead, we ask that you help us to focus on one day at a time, with each of those days protected and covered by you. Lord, we pray for the children and college students who are starting school today. Lord, as they get ready today we ask for: your protection over them and their classrooms. Lord, give them favor with their teachers. Help them to make friends with individuals who be good influences and have a good heart. Lord, help them to have a successful school year. Give them wisdom and understanding so that they are able to do well with their assignments throughout the school year.

Lord, continue to be with those on the Hawaiian Islands. Lord, your word says that you will supply our need. Lord, the people are in need. Lord, you are a restorer. Lord, cover them and give them peace and help them to rebuild what was lost. Lord, help us to be godly examples in the world.

Lord, continue to change our hearts and align our will to yours. Help us to be examples of you, no matter where we go or whatever we do. Lord, thank you in advance for everything you have done, will do and have promised. In Jesus name, amen.
