Good morning! We are half way through our Draw Closer prayer series. I pray it has been a blessing to you.

Dear God

Thank you for blessing us with another day. Lord, we don’t know what is ahead, but we do know that you are with us, you won’t leave or forsake us, and that you love us.

Lord, we want to know you better today than we did 15 days ago. Lord, we want to long to speak with you in the mornings and hear your voice speak to us. Lord, we want to draw near to you. We don’t want a superficial relationship with you, but we want the authentic truth, loving, lasting, correcting, and transforming real thing. Lord, we don’t want it to be just for show or for likes, we want it for eternity. Lord, help us to be authentic real Christians, not boastful, not over the top where others can’t connect with us or can’t touch us, but in our everyday decisions, actions, and conversations help us to display and live out our connection with/to you.

Thank you for keeping us this week. Thank you for leading us. Thank you for being faithful. Most of all God thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to save us from eternal separation and death. Thank you Jesus for coming to set free the captives, to heal the brokenhearted, to give us new life, to save us and bring us back into relationship with God.

Lord, we pray for the families and people in Hawaii and the Hawaiian Islands. Lord, keep them and provide for them. Lord, comfort those who have lost homes, loved ones, and other things. Help them as the calculate loss and look to rebuild.

Lord, keep working in us. Continue to hear our prayers and give us your peace as we wait on you and trust your faithfulness.  In Jesus name we pray, amen.
