Day 10 of 30

Good morning! Today, we will continue our Draw Closer series of daily prayers.

Prayer focus:  My Help Comes From The Lord

” 1 I will raise my eyes to the mountains;
From where will my help come?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who watches over you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who watches over Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is your protector;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand.
6 The sun will not beat down on you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
8 The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time and forever.” Psalm 121:1-8 (NASB)

Dear God

Thank you for your help and protection this week. Thank you for shielding us when we did not know we were being shielded. Lord, You are Alpha and Omega. You know our beginning and our end. You know every detail about us and yet, You still love us.

Lord, thank You for being our faithful protector and our greatest help in times of lack and in times of plenty. You are always with us, guiding us with wisdom, pouring out discernment, and giving understanding. Lord, help us as we lean-in to you. Help us to listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit and give us the drive to be obedient to the prompting. Thank you for being gracious and full of mercy when we fail to listen to the prompting, but renew us today so that it becomes easier to be humble and obedient to Your word.

Lord, Help Us

Lord, strengthen those who are weak.
Lord, help those who need financial resources and support. Make provisions for children to have food, clothes, school supplies, hygiene items, and resources to be successful this school year.
Lord, cover the children and protect them.
Lord, comfort those who are mourning.
Lord, heal those who are ill and/or going through medical treatments. Heal those who are recovering from surgery.
Lord, steady the mind of those who feel lost or are battling depression, anxiety or other struggles.
Lord, bless those who are being a blessing to others. And, bless those with little or limited resources and turn it to plenty. Lord, help us to be a blessing and not a hindrance to those that You place in our path.
Lord, awaken Your church so that it will be a church without walls, people with great hearts, and everyone with a desire to align itself to Your word and actions.
Lord, comfort and provide for the widows.

Lord, help us to love ourselves and others as You love us.

Lord, as we complete this week and go into the weekend keep our eyes and thoughts fixed on You. Help us to be pleasing to you. Thank you! In Jesus name,  amen!
