Good morning! Today, we will continue our Draw Closer series of daily prayers. 

Prayer focus: Nothing is too hard for God

“‘Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,” Jeremiah 32:17 NASB

Dear God

Thank you for waking us up this morning. Thank you for a brand new day where we can draw closer to you. Thank you for our health. Thank you for our undeserved grace. Thank you for our relationship with you.

Lord, we have read in Your word that nothing is too difficult or too hard for you. Lord, we have seen and heard of Your miracles and believe that Nothing is too difficult for you, but sometimes we lose focus of how great and how powerful you are in our own situations. Lord, we don’t want to forget it any longer. We want to remember Your greatness over our circumstances and situations. Lord, restore our child like faith and trust in You.

Lord, help us to be examples of Your love and truth. Give us courage to live for You, to love what you love, and despise what You despise. Lord, in our love for what you love – help us in our homes, in our marriages, in our parenting, with our extended family, on our jobs, in our neighborhoods, in our churches, in our schools, and throughout the world. Lord, we need you. Lord, give us discernment and wisdom as we extend love. Protect us from those who desire to abuse our love, kindness, etc. Lord, we don’t want to live with walls of anger, distrust, or in constant judgment of others. Help us to navigate through the pain of our past or current, and come through it healed and free to live the abundant life You have for us. Keep transforming us to be more like you everyday.

Lord, we specifically pray for those struggling with addiction, suicidal thoughts, survivors of abuse, and ask that you free them from their past or current traumas. Lord, let your voice be louder than their pain. Let your comfort be greater than their discomfort. Let your peace and love be greater than what they are holding onto or are having a difficult time processing. Lord, heal them from the inside out.

Lord, nothing is too difficult for You. Have Your way today, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
