Good morning! We are continuing our Draw Closer series of daily prayers.
Prayer focus is faith
“Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, a proof of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 NASB
Dear God.
Thank you for allowing us to make it through the weekend. Thank you for blessing us to see and partake in another Monday.
We know our days on earth are precious and in Your eyes they are few. Therefore, we want to live our lives aligned to Your will and plan. Lord, give us faith as you gave those during Biblical times. Help us to see things as You see them. Lord, we trust You to come through on each promise that You have spoken and is written in Your word. However, Lord we do need reminders of those promises each day. Strengthen our hope in You and in Your faithfulness.
Lord, we pray for those who do not have faith, whose faith is wavering, and those who have faith as small as a mustard seed. Lord, we pray for all of us to lean-in and build our faith in you. Lord, let our trust in you be greater than our fears and doubt. Let our faith in you be greater than our faith in anything else. Help us to stand firm in our faith and hope in you daily.
Lord, as we prepare for today, keep our eyes steadfast on you. Help us to do and make decisions that bring you glory and praise. Lord, after we finish this prayer today, inscribe it on our hearts so that we remember our prayer and live it out in real-time.
Lord, equip our minds and our hearts to lead others, to care for others, and treat others as you have demonstrated throughout scripture. Lord, keep us humble and aware of those who need us, but also mindful enough to understand healthy boundaries. Lord, we do not want to hinder others from seeking, knowing or accepting you as their Lord and Savior. Fill our words with salt and light us like an endless lamp as bright as a city on a hill, so that others will hear and see that we belong to you.
Lord, whatever is ahead of us today, we ask that you remove anxiety and fear, worry and doubt, and pour out Your spirit upon us and give us power, joy, and a sound mind to help us through this day and days ahead.
We pray for:
- the homeless
- the hurt and the broken
- those who are ill and those struggling with curable and incurable disease
- those who are addicted or recovering from addiction
- those struggling financially, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually
we ask that you meet them right where they are and heal them, their situations, and begin to turn their situations around.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, amen.
