Good morning! Today, we will continue our Draw Closer series of daily prayers. 

Prayer Focus – Peace
“⁶ Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. ⁷ And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7 NIV

Dear God.
Thank you for today and for bringing us to the last workday of the week. Lord, you continue to amaze me each day. Your faithfulness is unmatched and brilliant in display. Thank you for the grace that you extend and for the joy that you always provide. Lord, while things don’t always go the way that we plan I am grateful that Your plan always prevails.

Lord, thank you for the times when we find
peace that only You provide. Thank you for lifting our anxiety about things we have and do not have control over. Thank you for our ability to pray to you about anything and rest in Your peace where You provide understanding.

Lord, thank you for never leaving us. Thank you for keeping us. Thank you for Your mercy and grace. Lord, continue to keep our minds and hearts on You.

Lord, as we begin our day, may Your words and promises become greater than our fears, greater than our worries, and greater than the negative scripts we replay in our minds.

Lord, be with us when our faith begins to waiver and we lose sight of Your greatness. Lord, remind us of Your faithfulness, Your healing power, Your constant response to our prayers, and Your ability to change any situation.

Be with us today and throughout the weekend, and help us to feel Your presence with us. Lord, let Your peace reign in our hearts and minds. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
