Good morning! Today, we will continue our Draw  Closer series of daily prayers. 

Dear Lord.

Thank you for another day. Thank you for another opportunity to know and understand that You are all that we need. Lord, from the time that we wake up until the time we lay down our head, we understand that You and You alone are truly what we need.

Lord, thank you for community and for giving us the gift of being able to love you, love others and ourselves. Lord, thank you for your endless grace. Thank you for mending hearts and relationships.  Lord, we pray for those who are struggling with broken relationships, broken hearts, and lack of trust and we ask that you begin to work on their hearts to change and heal them from the things that have kept them bound to anger, bitterness, resentment, distrust, and separation from others.

Lord, renew our hearts today. Help us to love like You love and serve as You serve. Lord, when we are tempted to say and do what we feel, help us to align ourselves with Your word, Your will, and live in Your truth. Help us to create healthy boundaries and in every area of our life and live at peace because You are our peace.

Lord, be with us today as we strive to live a life that brings You glory. Lord, direct our steps today. Help us to feel Your presence and know You are with us.

Lord, we lift up those who did not have a goodnight, the those who are mourning today, and those who are experiencing sicknesses. Lord, we ask for this day to be a restful day for them. We ask for the grief and mourning not to be so heavy and for them to be able to take a breath without it being to unbearable. Lord, return to them wholeness where their is emptiness in their hearts. Lord, comfort those who are sick and are unable to do the things in their life that once brought them joy and independence. Lord, help and heal those with heart conditions, diabetes, MS, asthma, cancer, arthritis, and other chronic and non-chronic diseases or symptoms.

Lord, be with those who are in leadership roles and lead them. Lord, give them wisdom, foresight, discernment and a servant heart to lead whoever they are leading with a heart that follows Your lead.

Lord, You are Alpha and Omega, our Promise Keeper, our Healer, our Rock and Fortress, our Peace and our Refuge. Continue to remind us throughout the day, that You are what we need. In Jesus name, amen.
