Happy Monday! This week of Thanksgiving we will read Psalm 139.

“O Lord, you have examined my heart
    and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
    You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
 You see me when I travel
    and when I rest at home.
    You know everything I do.
 You know what I am going to say
    even before I say it, Lord.
 You go before me and follow me.
    You place your hand of blessing on my head.
 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too great for me to understand!” Psalm 139:1-6 NLT 

Does anyone know you, like God knows you? ______

Lord, there is no one greater than you. Lord, you know us better than we know ourselves. Lord, give us wisdom to understand the love you give freely. Lord, we need you and want to experience your love in a greater way. Lord, as we go through this week and read through Psalm 139, bring to our memory the love you have for us. Lord, expose areas in our hearts and minds that need mending. Heal all the broken pieces and show us your presence as we seek to follow you. Protect us as we go to work, school, travel, etc. Lord, protect the innocent, bless those who are homeless, cure the sick and soften our hearts to love you above all things. Lord, prepare our hearts as we plan to spend time with family, friends, or alone this week. Help us to be an example of Christ in this world, around the dinner table and in the grocery/retail stores. Keep changing us to look more like you. In Jesus name, amen!
