Happy Monday! Thank you for reading along with me through the book of Hebrews. Enjoy some of the final words in the book.
“Pray for us, for our conscience is clear and we want to live honorably in everything we do. And especially pray that I will be able to come back to you soon. Now may the God of peace— who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood— may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.” Hebrews 13:18-21NLT
Dear Lord God, we need you. Things that are going on around this nation and the world are pressing. Lord, equip our ears to hear from you and to do as you have called us to do. Lord, equip our hearts to be soft for the things that concern you. Lord, equip our minds to understand…and allow you to lead us in all our ways. Lord your word in Micah 6:8 says: “No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” Lord, help us to be more concerned over the people who are suffering than a man-made god. Lord, help us to understand what you want us to do and equip us to do it in a way that pleases you. Lord, you know the pain and suffering people are experiencing – illness, pain, fear, divorce, wayward children and more – Lord, touch them and bring them peace. Be with us today and make yourself known to all the nations that you are God. Help us to do what you have called us to do. In Jesus name, amen.
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep Praying!
Enjoy your Monday!
