A Home Yet To Come

Good morning! “We have an altar from which the priests in the Tabernacle have no right to eat. Under the old system, the high priest brought the blood of animals into the Holy Place as a sacrifice for sin, and the bodies of the animals were burned outside the camp. So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates to make his people holy by means of his own blood. So let us go out to him, outside the camp, and bear the disgrace he bore. For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.” Hebrews 13:10-14NLT

Sometimes we are so entrenched with the days ahead, that we forget to look forward to our home yet to come.

The things of this world are temporary and in a blink of an eye things we cherish are gone. However, don’t allow the shadows of yesterday to forecast gloom into your tomorrow. Stand firm in your faith, live each day as if it is the last one, and share the word of God with your family and to this empty and broken world. Remember, while we are here, this isn’t our permanent home. We have a hope and a future. So share your hope with the world.

Father God, we thank you for sending your son as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Thank for the opportunity to worship you in spirit and in truth. Lord, give us boldness to share your truth/words with others. Lord, help us to be examples of Christ Jesus – our savior in our daily lives. Lord our hope remains in you. While we wait for the home you have gone to prepare for us, help us to lead others in your truth so that they may know you personally. Lord, let us feel your presence today. Heal the sick, touch the weak, bring clarity and remembrance to the forgetful and help us to be your hands & feet for those in need. In Jesus name, Amen!

Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
