Good morning! “It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when God was testing him. Abraham, who had received God’s promises, was ready to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, even though God had told him, “Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted.” Abraham reasoned that if Isaac died, God was able to bring him back to life again. And in a sense, Abraham did receive his son back from the dead.” Hebrews 11:17-19 NLT.
Abraham trusted God more than his emotions. While Abraham didn’t fully understand how…he trusted. He trusted God to fulfill His promise one way or another.
Sometimes we are prompted to give up things in order to follow the Lord. We may need to let friends go, leave a familiar place to pursue God’s plan for our lives, or sacrifice a lifestyle to live out what God has called us to do. While we struggle with those decisions, we must trust the Lord. Because of his faithfulness, we can be faithful to him. He restores…
Father God, thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for opening doors when everything around us seems to be closed. Lord, thank you for opportunities to see you at work in our lives, our families and in the world. Lord continue to prompt us to get out of our comfort zone and follow you completely. Guide our actions and give us wisdom in the choices we must make. Lord, make it very clear to us what you desire of us. Help us to trust you more each day. Lord be with us today and protect us from our enemies. In Jesus name, Amen!
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!

You are right on track. Thanks for this wonderful guidance. I definitely need to listen to Jesus more and my feelings less.
