Good morning! “That is why Christ did not honor himself by assuming he could become High Priest. No, he was chosen by God, who said to him, “You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.” And in another passage God said to him, “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.” While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God.” Hebrews 5:5-7 NLT.
What if Jesus gave up when things were tough? What hope would we have? Thank you God for sending Jesus. His call on earth was the greatest call, yet he accomplished it for our sake. Today, the Lord is calling us to walk in our purpose. Will you be obedient and answer the call?
God thank you for your goodness. Thank you for your willingness to send your Son so that we who believe may be reconciled to you. Lord continue to work in us and through us. Lord in our loud cries and through our tears, hear us and comfort us. Guide us in all our ways. Soften our hearts so that we may be more like you. Help us persevere and finish this race well. In Jesus name, Amen!
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
We must continue to live out our call.
