Good morning! “God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. For this good news—that God has prepared this rest—has been announced to us just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn’t share the faith of those who listened to God. For only we who believe can enter his rest. As for the others, God said, “In my anger I took an oath: ‘They will never enter my place of rest,’” even though this rest has been ready since he made the world.” Hebrews 4:1-3 NLT.
Dear Lord, you created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. You created man in your image and gave us life. Lord we often forget that you created us for your pleasure and have loved us before we were developed in our mother’s womb. Lord, help us remember. Father God, help those who do not believe, those who are still seeking joy in other things except you and open up their hearts to receive and follow you. Grant us courage to live a life that will keep in mind the “rest” you have in store for us. Protect and keep us this week. Go ahead of us today and give us favor in all things. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
Enjoy your Monday!
