Happy Monday! May the God who sustains, be with you today and throughout this week. Enjoy today’s devotion. 

BIBLE VERSE – Matthew 6:9-13 NLT
^“9 Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. ¹⁰ May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. ¹¹ Give us today the food we need, ¹² and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. ¹³ And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.”

REFLECTION

As we conclude our review of the Lord’s prayer, we recognize the following:

• Our Father represents relationship with the Lord Almighty. 
• His name is Holy and should be revered. 
• His kingdom will come, because His word is true and He will fulfill every promise in His word. His will is accomplished in heaven, we continue to pray His will be done here on earth. (Keep praying)
• The Lord knows our needs. He understands our hunger for food and our needs that only He can fill. Pray for the Lord to sustain us each day.
• If we have asked God into our hearts, accepted Christ Jesus as our Savior, and asked for forgiveness of sins, we have been forgiven. Each day is a new day to ask for forgiveness of sins and with the help of the Holy Spirit we will leave old sins behind and be made new.
• As others offend us or sinned against us, we continue to pray to forgive others as Christ has forgiven our sins. Lord, thank you for paying our debt that you did not owe.
• Keep praying for the Lord to release us/break chains of temptations. To strengthen us from the attacks of the enemy and from a desire to do evil.

Keep Praying! Keep Trusting! Keep Seeking God’s plan for your life!

PRAYER

Our Father, thank you! Thank you for being gracious and merciful.  Thank you for answering our prayers. Lord, forgive us of our sins known and unknown. Lord, continue to work in us – change us and make us new. Lord, we believe your Word is true. Allow your will to be done here on earth. Lord, we know you can do all things, but Lord, please use us to help accomplish your purpose and plan. Lord, we desire to follow you and be used by you. Equip us with tools to minister to others, pour out your Holy Spirit on us, and work in and through us in a mighty way. Lord, help us to forgive as you have forgiven us. Help our hearts and minds to forgive so that we can be fully restored unto you. Lord, heal our hearts that are scared. Remove the scar tissue and remind us of our healing that only comes from you. Lord, we pray for the least, last and the lost. Lord, bring healing to them today. Keep them. Keep us. In Jesus name, amen!
