Happy Friday! May the Lord who sees you and cares for you give you peace and favor today. Enjoy today’s verses and your weekend.
“6 Though the Lord is great, he cares for the humble, but he keeps his distance from the proud.
7 Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies.
You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me.
8 The Lord will work out his plans for my life—for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.” Psalm 138:6-8 NLT
I have a few things from these verses for you to meditate on today and throughout the weekend.
The Lord:
- cares for you
- will protect you
- saves
- will work out his plans for your life
- will not abandon you
- made you
Father God, thank you for making us. Thank you for caring for us. Lord, we stand in awe of you. Lord, teach us more about your love for us. Lord, show us your ways. Lord, lead our hearts and lives to desire you more and to live according to your word. Lord, be with those in need, give them peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus name, amen.
