Pay Careful Attention

Good morning! “Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct. Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them.” Galatians 6:4-6 NLT

The Lord gives each person gifts and talents, and as we continue to live a spirit led life the Lord will pour out gifts on you to bless others. However, don’t get sidetracked by what other people are doing for the kingdom, “stay in your lane” continue to do all that the Lord has called you to do. Focus on how the Lord is directing you to serve him.

I can’t run the race because I am too busy looking at _________. Lord, help me ______ so that I can do what you are calling me to do.

Father God, we thank you for your many blessings. We ask that you strengthen our faith and remove all obstacles that hinder us from following your word. Lord, we ask that you touch our hands and speech, and use us as vessels to lead others to you. Lord, be with those who are homeless – keep them warm and fed, be with victims of crimes – Lord, heal them, free them and restore them. Lord be with the church body – help us not to be complacent, challenge our faith, unveil our eyes to see your truth and where we need to be a better representation of you. Be with us today as we go to work, school, take exams, go to Dr. appointments, etc. Help us to feel your presence and keep us safe. Give us favor in all things today. In Jesus name, amen!

Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
