Good morning! There are clear distinctions of a person who struggles between following their own desires and that of a person following God’s will.

“When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” Galatians 5:19-23 NLT 

When you reflect on the two list above, which list seems to fit your character today? ________

If you are struggling with your sinful nature, where/when/how do you need God’s help? _________

Will you make a decision today to walk away from the sinful nature or things/people that bind you/hold you captive? _________

Will you allow the Holy Spirit to change/transform you into the person God designed you to be? ______

Father God, only you are capable of instant healing, immediate forgiveness and complete restoration. Lord, today we are praying for you to forgive us of our sins, heal us from our past, remove our addictions and restore us unto you. Lord,  we want to change. Lord we want to live a life that people can see your Holy Spirit producing fruit in us. Lord, shake off the rotten fruit, prune back the branches in our lives that do not yield the fruit you desire. Lord, there is nothing that is impossible for you,  so Lord, we declare your healing, forgiveness and restoration in our lives today. We give you all glory and praise as we begin to live by the Spirit. In Jesus name, Amen.
