Happy Friday! “But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive by faith the righteousness God has promised to us. For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.” Galatians 5:5-6NLT
Sometimes the most difficult thing to do is love. However, we as Christians are called to love our enemy…(Matthew 5:43-48) , love our neighbor…(Matthew 22:39), love the Lord God…(Mark 12:30).
If we followed the 1st command in Mark 12:30, it will be easier (not easy) to love our neighbor…(Matthew 22:39), and love our enemy…(Matthew 5:43-48). Don’t let what’s popular or religion or clique make you think you reached the mark. Spend sometime self-examining…where you fall short (because we all do). Ask the Lord to reveal it to you, then ask him to teach you to love like him. He wants a relationship with you.
Lord, you loved us enough to save us!💜
Father God, we come to you today because you love us. Lord, you love us more than we could ever love ourselves. Lord, we don’t deserve the love you continue to show us, yet you love us anyway. Lord, take hold of our heart, pierce it until we can no longer escape your grip and let it overflow with the love you have for us, so that we will live our lives sold out for you – loving others like you. Lord, allow your love to overflow in our homes, in our ministries, in our churches, amongst Christians, on our jobs, in the nation’s, amongst our leaders. Lord, you are our only hope, our faith lays with you. Teach us once again to love as you love and to hate the things you hate. Help us to live out our faith in love and not in division. In Jesus name, Amen!
Keep seeking God’s truth! Keep trusting God’s word! Keep praying!
