Good morning! “Why, then, was the law given? It was given alongside the promise to show people their sins. But the law was designed to last only until the coming of the child who was promised. God gave his law through angels to Moses, who was the mediator between God and the people. Now a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement. But God, who is one, did not use a mediator when he gave his promise to Abraham. Is there a conflict, then, between God’s law and God’s promises? Absolutely not! If the law could give us new life, we could be made right with God by obeying it. But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.” Galatians 3:19-22 NLT

Do you believe this? _____

The word also says: “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” Romans 10:9-10 NLT

Lord God, your promises declare freedom for those who believe in Jesus Christ. Lord, we believe your word and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We believe he died on the cross for our sins – he was the perfect sacrifice, one without blemish, his blood was shed.  We believe that on the third day he arose from the dead – conquering death and is now seated on the right hand of God – interceding for us. We believe that if we ask for forgiveness, and turn away from our sin, that we shall be forgiven – we are free indeed.

Lord, thank you for your provisions throughout scripture. You continue to unfold your great love for us. The depth of your love is indescribable. Father, continue to reveal your love, your forgiveness and the hope that comes from only you. Open our blind eyes so that we can see you around us. Open our deaf ears so that we can hear you speak to us. Lead us Lord so that we may walk in the fullness of you. In Jesus name, Amen!

Keep seeking God’s truth! Keep trusting God’s word! Keep praying!
