Faith and Life

Good morning! “But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.” So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says, “It is through obeying the law that a person has life.”Galatians 3:10-12 NLT

Paul the writer of Galatians, continues to explain that we will never be perfect enough to live by the law. It is through faith in what Christ Jesus did at the cross (his death, burial and resurrection) that we are saved. He was the perfect sacrifice, without blemish or sin. He paid the price for our sins, once and for all. For those who believe, have faith and have accepted Christ Jesus as your Savior you have a hope, you have life. So stay encouraged and stand on the word of God.

For those who want to accept Christ Jesus as your Savior we believe:

“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” Romans 10:9-10 NLT

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ we come humbly at your feet. Lord, we are in awe of your majesty, we are overwhelmed by the grace and mercy you show us over and over again. Father, continue to teach us your ways. Help us to understand your word. Help us to live a life that is pleasing to you. Lord, when we are discouraged by the things going on around us or in our own lives, help to focus on you and the truth of your word. Lord, shower us with your peace. In Jesus name, amen.

Keep seeking God’s truth! Keep trusting God’s word! Keep praying!
