Good morning! “Then three years later I went to Jerusalem to get to know Peter, and I stayed with him for fifteen days. The only other apostle I met at that time was James, the Lord’s brother. I declare before God that what I am writing to you is not a lie. After that visit I went north into the provinces of Syria and Cilicia. And still the churches in Christ that are in Judea didn’t know me personally. All they knew was that people were saying, “The one who used to persecute us is now preaching the very faith he tried to destroy!” And they praised God because of me.” Galatians 1:18-24NLT.
While Paul was zealous for the Lord, planting churches, discipling, correcting and sharing the word of God, it wasn’t easy. We, as mere humans, never know how the Lord will use someone. However, when the Lord begins his work, step back and watch Him do amazing things through his people who are willing to be used by him.
Keep praying for the lost. Keep praying for the atheist. Keep praying for the wayward child. Keep praying for that spouse. Keep praying for that co-worker and/or boss. Keep praying for the Lord to work in us as he transforms others.
Who are you praying for today? ___________
Dear Lord, thank you for loving us while we were dead in our sin(s). Thank you for being gracious and merciful that when we deserved death, you pointed to the cross. Lord, it is only you who can change the hearts and minds of your children. Lord, continue to teach us your ways. Grant us wisdom to understand your love for us. Open our eyes to see your workmanship today. Father, so much is going on in the world, we need you. Lord, lead us to a place where we can examine our thoughts and our will, and align them to your will. Help us to see you, Lord. Helps us to show others that you care. Help us to be godly examples of your love. Change us, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen!
Keep seeking God’s truth! Keep trusting God’s word! Keep praying!
