Happy Friday! “Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you. I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed. Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” Galatians 1:8-10NLT.
There should be great concern for those leading people away from the gospel message. Some people have become blind and are seeking other gods before they seek the One true God. Which is why, there is still a lot of work ahead for the believers. We need to continue to share the true gospel message wherever we go.
This weekend, ponder on these questions.
Who are you trying to please? ________
Where are the least, lost and last in your area of influence and how can you minister to them (e.g., speak to them, pray for them, buy them a coffee, ask them if they need something)? _________
Don’t be a people pleaser, be a God seeker – Lord what do you desire of us?
Dear Lord, thank you for this week. Thank you for sustaining us. Lord, I pray that you send resources to the Mid-Atlantic Caribbean territories, Mexico and other places suffering from natural disasters. Lord, be with those who are sick and suffering from disease – your word says, by your stripes we are healed – Lord, relieve them from pain and heal their body. Lord, in 2 Chronicles 7:14NIV, your word says, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Lord, soften our hearts so that we can be used by you for your glory. Help nations to turn from their wicked ways and seek your face. Lord, protect the innocent and keep them from harm. Lord, heal the broken-hearted and give them peace. In Jesus name, Amen!
Keep seeking God’s truth! Keep trusting God’s word! Keep praying!
We would love to pray for you and/or your family. Please send your prayer request to PrayerRequest@maryewhiteministries.com.
