By Faith – Focused and Protected

Good morning! “It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible. It was by faith that Moses commanded the people of Israel to keep the Passover and to sprinkle blood on the doorposts so that the angel of death would not kill their firstborn sonsIt was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.” Hebrews 11:27-29 NLT

Moses’ faith was being developed daily. The more Moses connected with God, God showed Moses His faithfulness over and over again. Moses didn’t look back. He kept his eyes focused on God and as a result, those who followed were protected.

Is it time for you to refocus your life? First, start with your relationship with God. If you’re not sure how to do that, start with prayer. Keep praying for the Lord to help you rekindle your relationship with him. Ask him to guide you and begin to be obedient to what he is asking of you.

If you want our prayer team to pray with you/ for you or for someone else, please send your prayer request to:

Prayer: Father God, some days are difficult for us to stay focused. God, sometimes our trials seem too hard to feel your protection. But God we know about your faithfulness and your promises. We know that in spite of trials and heartache we can depend on the truth of your word. Lord, help us to be resilient as we put our hope and our trust in you. Sustain us Lord. Continue to cover and protect us as only you can. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
