Happy Monday! This is Peter’s introduction in chapter 3.
“This is my second letter to you, dear friends, and in both of them I have tried to stimulate your wholesome thinking and refresh your memory. I want you to remember what the holy prophets said long ago and what our Lord and Savior commanded through your apostles.” 2 Peter 3:1-2 NLT
This is also a reminder to us, that we should not forget the word of the Lord (old and new testament writings). As we spend more time in the word, we will see the word of God in action in the words we speak, our hearts, our attitudes and minds (thoughts).
Dear Lord, thank you for another opportunity to read your word. Thank you for helping us to see you in every thing. Father, our country is in desperate need of you. Lord we ask you for direction and courage to live a life that honors you. Keep us Lord. Go before us today. Be with us on our jobs, school, etc. Grant us safety, wisdom and favor in all things today. Be with those who are suffering physically, emotionally, mentally and financially. Heal them from worry, pain and anxiety. In Jesus name, Amen!
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
