Happy Friday! “Therefore, I will always remind you about these things—even though you already know them and are standing firm in the truth you have been taught. And it is only right that I should keep on reminding you as long as I live.” 2 Peter 1:12-13NLT
As I read these verses, I think about how much I love the Lord. How grateful I am that his word continues to remind me of his faithfulness, love toward me and examples of how to live in a society where there is so much fear, chaos and insecurity.
His words/promises are the anchor that remind us we are not alone, to fear not, that he has sent a comforter, by his stripes we are healed, that he has overcome the world – and much more.
What promises will you remember this weekend?
Promise: “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NLT
Dear Lord, thank you for guiding us through another week. Thank you for your strength, comfort and peace. May your word continue to be a lamp that guides our path, develops our faith and character. Lord, as we prepare for the weekend remind us of your faithfulness, love and promises. Equip us with tools to share the gospel and pray for others. May our lives bring you glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Keep praying! Keep seeking! Keep trusting!
