It Was the Best Friday

Good Friday! “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.” 2 Peter 1:3 NLT.

The Lord equips us with gifts, wisdom and discernment to live a life that honors him. His power in us is greater than any addiction, failure, fear or disappointment. We can rely on our Lord and Savior to come through for us as he promised – by helping us in our toughest moment and our greatest pain.

Our Lord who took on the sins of the world, died on the cross and after three days rose from the grave so that we can be reconciled to God, is the same Lord who loves us unconditionally today.

Today’s Challenge: Take time to reflect on the power and saving grace of our Lord. What it means for you and your family.

Father God, thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to live a life that exemplified your love and mercy, who taught us by actions how live on earth, died on the cross for our sins and rose from the grave so that we can be reconciled to you. Lord thank you for your love. Thank you for not giving up on us. Thank for opportunities of restoration and forgiveness. Lord I ask that you continue to make yourself known. Use us and our gifts to bring you glory and more people into the kingdom. In Jesus Christ name, Amen!

Enjoy your weekend.
