More and More Grace

Good Morning! Thank you for joining me on this journey through Second Peter. “This letter is from Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ.  I am writing to you who share the same precious faith we have. This faith was given to you because of the justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior. May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.” 2 Peter 1:1-2 NLT

Brothers and sisters, you are never too far away to be drawn closer to Jesus Christ, our God and Savior. While your day may be filled with endless task to complete, remember God desires to spend time with you.  He wants you to understand your purpose and for you to embrace the plans that he has for your life. However, in order to fully understand these things, we need to spend time with God – the one who loved you first (your day one)!

Today’s Challenge: Think about your daily schedule and schedule some uninterrupted time to be with God.

As you spend time in his word and prayer – invite the Lord into your heart and watch your relationship and faith in God grow.  Take time today to seek the grace and peace that only he can provide.

Savior and Lord, we come to you today with thanks for another morning and opportunity to put you first in our lives. Lord, thank you for all that you have provided. Thank you for your grace and peace. Help us to understand your word more each day. Lord as we journey through the day, speak to us…whisper to us your plan for us today. Lord soften our hearts and remove our fears so that we may be obedient to your word. Lord straighten our path, protect our families, cover us and equip us for any challenges that we are facing. Give us wisdom in all things. – We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Have a wonderful Thursday.

Keep seeking! Keep believing! Keep trusting!

We want to hear from you. Leave a reply
