It is easy to slowly slip into the behaviors of the culture and allow them to influences us. We have heard sayings like “hate breeds more hate” or “one little lie becomes a greater lie” or “one bad apple will detroy the whole bunch”, but even biblically speaking scripture states, “Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for bad company corrupts good character.” 1 Corinthians 15:33 NLT

We must remember our position in this world. If you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, your citizenship is not here it is in the kingdom of God. Therefore, don’t conform to your environment stand firm in your position as daughters and sons of the Most High King. Don’t forget what you believe. Stand in the authority the Lord has given you to fight against the urges to return to your old sinful nature. Take possession of your new freedom to choose right versus wrong and the road less traveled versus what is popular.

Keep praying for strength in your weak areas, remain humble in the areas of least struggle. Pray for others who are still struggling.
