Happy Friday! “My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders away from the truth and is brought back, you can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back from wandering will save that person from death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins.” James 5:19-20 NLT
Today marks the day, the day you can look beyond yourself and minister to the least, last and lost. For some it will begin in your home – praying for your family and resembling Christ in your actions. For others it will be sharing God’s love through your actions at church, work, school, etc. Whatever it may be, make an impact for the kingdom and a difference in the world.
Father God as we begin today in expectation of seeing you work in our lives we ask for you to reveal to us your purpose and plan for our lives. Lord we ask that you will ease our anxiety about the new presidential administration and the state of this world. Help us to always remember that you sit on the throne, that you are in control of all things, and that we are to pray for our leaders. Help us to hear you when you call us to action and obedience. Help us to stand in the gap for your children and for your sheep who maybe straying away from you. Open our eyes and soften our hearts to be your hands and feet in this broken world. In Jesus name, amen.
This weekend take time to seek the Lord’s face. Keep praying! He is still on the throne.
